Treviño proudly invite the community and members of the media to kick off National Community Development Week with an official proclamation ceremony on Thursday, April 2, 2026.</p><p>National Community Development Week, observed from April 6<sup>th</sup> through the 10<sup>th</sup>, 2026, is a time to recognize the impact of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME programs, which continue to strengthen neighborhoods and improve the quality of life for residents across Laredo.
